Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: Bayern may have had Gnabry role
Serge Gnabry has hinted that a return to Arsenal could be possible. LONDON -- Arsene Wenger has said Bayern Munich appeared to be involved in Werder Bremen's deal to buy winger Serge Gnabry from Arsenal and ruled out buying him back. Earlier this month, Gnabry told German newspaper Bild that he was fully focused on staying at Bremen but suggested a return to Arsenal could be possible. The German joined Arsenal as a teenager in 2012 but was sold to Bremen in August after rejecting a new contract.
