Premier League Rivals Sack Manager Ahead Of Arsenal Clash
Crystal Palace have sacked manager Alan Pardew just over a week before the match against Arsenal. The Gunners take on Palace on New Year's Day but will have to face a new boss in the dugout (via The Guardian). We'd seen five managerial changes in the Premier League at this point last season but the boardrooms of English football seem to be a little more forgiving this term. Just Francesco Guidolin had been sacked from his Premier League managerial position before this season but Crystal Palace just doubled to the list today with the sacking of Alan Pardew. The former West Ham and Newcastle boss had been in charge of the Eagles since January 2015 but will spend Christmas out of the job....
