Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil Set To Resume Arsenal Contract Talks
It has been revealed that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are due to resume new contract talks. The news is likely to come as a relief to fans given both players have entered the final two years of their existing deals at the Emirates. “Ozil and Sanchez, we will start to talk for their extensions,' said Wenger ahead of tonight's Champions League clash with Paris St-Germain. Ozil is understood to be waiting for Arsenal to show their ambition before he puts pen to paper on fresh terms. Alexis scored 42 goals during his first two seasons with the club and opened his account this term in the 3-1 win at Watford.
