Olivier Giroud: 'Jamie Vardy wants to join Arsenal'
Olivier Giroud has claimed that Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy is keen to join Arsenal this summer after his £20m release clause was met by the Gunners. The England international, who found the net 24 times for the Foxes last season to spearhead their unlikely charge to the Premier League title, has reportedly already held talks with Arsene Wenger over a move. Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri admitted on Saturday that Vardy is now free to speak to other clubs, but the former Fleetwood Town man has yet to speak publicly over his future plans.
