Leicester star Riyad Mahrez announced as PFA Player of the Year
GETTY STAR MAN: Mahrez has been on fire this season Mahrez becomes the first African player to pick up the award. The Algerian has been in sensational form this season, netting 17 times and adding 11 assists in the Premier League; more goals and assists combined than any other player in the league. Mahrez was on target for Leicester again today as the Foxes ran riot against Swansea in a 4-0 thrashing at the King Power stadium. The winger beat team-mate Jamie Vardy and Tottenham star Harry Kane to the award.
