Martin Keown: 'Arsene Wenger needs to spend'
Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown has claimed that Arsene Wenger will need to spend money in this summer's transfer window in order to keep the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil at the club. It has been reported that both Sanchez and Ozil are considering their futures after Arsenal's Premier League title challenge once again unravelled. Keown is confident that the Gunners can tie Sanchez and Ozil to new long-term contracts, but believes that Wenger will need to "be active in the transfer market" in order to stop key players seeking pastures new.
