Five English clubs hold European Super League breakaway talks?
Five of English football's biggest clubs have reportedly held discussions about a move to a yet to be formed European Super League. Representatives of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool were pictured leaving London's Dorchester Hotel yesterday afternoon following supposed discussions with American billionaire Stephen Ross. The Sun has claimed that Ross, who owns the Miami Dolphins and cooked up the idea for the International Champions Cup, outlined plans for a breakaway league during a lengthy meeting.
