Ex-Arsenal striker mystified by criticism of divisive Gunner
Benik Afobe doesn't understand why Olivier Giroud gets so much criticism, and heaped praise on the French forward following our 2-0 win over Bournemouth this past weekend, as reported by the Daily Mail. Having recently made a club record move to Bournemouth from Wolverhampton Wanderers, Afobe has started his Premier League career well. He always looked like a bright prospect in the Arsenal academy, but with the competition ahead of him he wasn't getting anywhere near the team and after several loan spells eventually made a permanent switch away from the Emirates.
