Monreal signs new long-term contract
Nacho Monreal has signed a new long-term contract with the club.The Spain international has been a reliable presence at left-back for Arsenal ever since his arrival from La Liga side Malaga in January 2013.
Monreal has featured in all 22 of Arsenal’s Premier League matches so far in 2015/16, helping the team keep 10 clean sheets along the way.The 29-year-old has made more than 80 Premier League appearances for the Gunners, including a number at centre-back last season.Everyone at Arsenal looks forward to Nacho’s continued contribution to the club in the seasons to come.
