European Experience Can Help Elneny Become Key Arsenal Player – Wenger
It has been revealed that Arsene Wenger believes Mohamed Elneny will be able to quickly adapt to life in England having already spent time experiencing European football. The 23-year-old Egyptian midfielder joined the Gunners on Thursday from Swiss club FC Basel for an undisclosed fee believed to be in the region of £5million. When assessing the arrival of Elneny, Gunners boss Wenger felt that his three years spent in Switzerland competing in the Swiss Super League, Champions League and Europa League will have him well-prepared for the rigours of the Premier League and additional competitions.
