Arsenal eyeing up £26.3m Chelsea target to compete with Giroud
Arsene Wenger is apparently keeping tabs on Jackson Martinez once again, with a view to bringing the striker to the Emirates in January, according to French publication Le 10 Sport. We've been heavily linked with the powerful forward since before his £26.3m move to Atletico Madrid, but were beaten to his signature by the Spanish giants (via the Metro). He has since struggled in La Liga however, and there is mounting speculation he could be set for an early exit from Atletico. The French report suggests we are joined by Chelsea in the hunt for Martinez, although whether either team is really interested is questionable.
