Wenger Tightlipped Over Move For Basel Midfielder Mohamed Elneny
It has been reported that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was tightlipped about Mohamed Elneny after victory over Newcastle United. The Basel midfielder is expected to join Arsenal in the coming days. Asked if there is an update on Elneny, Wenger replied: 'No.' On what type of player Elneny is. 'You know that.' On what he thinks of Elneny. 'I have nothing to say because he is not our player. We have not signed anybody and we are not imminently in a position where we can say we have signed somebody. We are out there to get someone but at the moment we haven't signed anybody.'
