Arsenal Face Everton Competition For FC Basel Ace
It has been reported that Everton are watching Basel striker Breel Embolo. According to The Daily Mail, Embolo could depart Basel for a fee of around £18m. Blues boss Roberto Martinez sees the Swiss youngster as the perfect foil for Romelu Lukaku – or an insurance policy in case Lukaku is eventually tempted to leave Goodison Park. Arsenal, Manchester United and Barcelona are said to have been watching Embolo, as have Tottenham, but it is Everton who are credited with the strongest interest.
