Olivier Giroud Becomes Third Fastest At Arsenal To Reach 50 Goals
It has been reported that Olivier Giroud became the third quickest player in Arsenal history to reach 50 goals in the Premier League. The French international star converted from the penalty spot in the eighth minute of Sunday's 2-0 win at Aston Villa to reach the milestone in his 113th league appearance for the club. Giroud notched his 50th goal in faster time than the likes of Dennis Bergkamp, Robert Pires and Robin van Persie, and now sits third on the list behind Thierry Henry, who took 83 matches, and Ian Wright (87).
