Guillem Balague: Arsenal links with Barca target not true
Arsenal are NOT interested in signing Celta Vigo forward Nolito, according to La Liga football expert Guillem Balague. The Gunners were commonly thought to be chasing the 29-year old this winter in an effort to boost their striking ranks. However, Balague has moved to quash suggestions that Emirates chief Arsene Wenger is about to trigger the Spanish international’s reported £12.6m release clause. Instead, the journalist has taken to Twitter to reveal that the Celta star is not on the radar, while the player himself is more interested in moving to Barcelona next month.
