BBC pundit blasts Wenger over Alexis Sanchez injury
Match of the Day host Gary Lineker has subtly criticised Arsene Wenger for playing Alexis Sanchez against Norwich, insisting that you can't field a player who you know is suffering from a hamstring injury. Alexis was allegedly in pain following our win over Dinamo Zagreb in midweek, with the Chilean a doubt for the game against Norwich (via the Mirror). Wenger played him anyway though, and midway through the second half he was forced off clutching his hamstring.
