Arsenal prepare to hijack Tottenham interest in Breel Embolo
Arsenal are said to be ready to fight arch rivals Tottenham for the signature of highly-rated FC Basel striker Breel Embolo, according to the Metro. The 18-year-old is presently one of the hottest prospects not only in Swiss football, but in the European game in general having already made a handful of appearances for the national side. A number of clubs across the continent are said to be keeping an eye on his progression, with Spurs believed to be one of the more interested parties, but now a report in Italian publication Calciomercato is claiming that Arsenal are preparing to take the fight to their North London rivals for his signature.
