Petr Cech: 'Chelsea form surprises me'

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech tells of his surprise following his former club Chelsea's current run of poor form in the Premier League.

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has admitted that he has been left "surprised" by his former club Chelsea's current run of form.

Cech is enjoying a positive start to his new career at the Gunners, and the 33-year-old has since told of just how taken aback he has been following Jose Mourinho's struggles in the league this term.

"It makes me surprised. It's a team that six months ago won the league," Cech told Tyden.

"Players stayed there, the coach added more to his liking. It is very hard to believe that the club is in such a state.

"I was surprised to see their suffering at the beginning of the league, but I was even more taken aback by the fact that the crisis still continues."

Arsenal currently hold second spot in the Premier League table, level on points with leaders Manchester City, while Chelsea occupy 16th place.
