Hector Bellerin emergence at Arsenal may have ended Jenkinson's hopes
Arsene Wenger reckons Arsenal can still win the Premier League title this season. When Carl Jenkinson left Arsenal for West Ham on loan last summer, the explanation was that the club wanted him to develop as a player by getting regular, first team football. Playing every week is the best way for any footballer to improve and to his credit the dyed-in-the-wool Arsenal fan has done just at Upton Park. He's performed well and consistently for Sam Allardyce's side, which would have raised his hopes that he could return to the club he supports and battle for the right-back spot next season.
