Wenger and Giroud fêted by Premier League
Arsenal's great run of form in March has been recognised by the Premier League with Arsene Wenger and Olivier Giroud picking up the Barclays manager of the month and player of the month awards respectively. The Gunners beat Everton, Queens Park Rangers, West Ham United and Newcastle United in the league to push up the table to third and also secured safe passage to the semi-final of the FA Cup with victory at Old Trafford against Manchester United. An away win at Monaco in the Champions League means Arsenal enter April on the back of six consecutive victories and secured the boss his 14th award of this type in his 19 years in N5 – he last won it in September 2013.
