Two Arsenal Midfielders Ranked Amongst Europe's Elite
Two Arsenal midfielder's have been featured in a collection of the top fifteen attacking midfielders in European football, by a study from The CIES Observatory. The study assessed players on a range of talents, including ‘rigour', ‘recovery', ‘distribution', ‘take-on' and ‘shooting'. Overall, Mesut Ozil was ranked as the best midfielder in Europe, alongside Chelsea's Eden Hazard, whilst Manchester City's Jesus Navas came third. Only Arsenal and Manchester City have two players in the list, with City's other representative being David Silva, whilst the Gunners have Santi Cazorla tied in eleventh.
