The Gunners made a slow start to the match and they were punished when Junior Stanislas played a lovely diagonal out to Charlie Daniels, who was in acres of the space. The left-back then beat Hector Bellerin and finished past Petr Cech from an angle. It then went from bad to worse Arsene Wenger's side when Granit Xhaka was adjudged to have brought down Ryan Fraser as he raced into the area. Callum Wilson then stepped up and confidently beat Cech with his penalty. Arsenal failed to have a shot on target in the first half and came off the pitch to boos from their supporters. REUTERS
