Defeats Left Me ‘Absolutely Desperate’, Admits Wenger
Arsene Wenger has admitted that consecutive defeats to Everton and Manchester City left him feeling “absolutely desperate”. The Gunners had not been beaten since the opening day before slipping to a 2-1 defeat at Goodison Park and then a 2-1 loss to Pep Guardiola’s side. The results have seen Arsenal lose ground in the title race and Wenger has revealed the huge disappointment he felt at seeing his side beaten.
