Oxlade-Chamberlain shocked by Wenger contract reports
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was reportedly shocked that Arsene Wenger said the club had opened contract negotiations with the player. The midfielder has 18 months left on his current deal and insists that no negotiations over an extension have taken place (via The Mirror). Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain put in another good performance on the weekend before being substituted with 20 minutes left in the match.
