(Image) Arsenal pay tribute to victims of the Chapecoense air disaster
The footballing world is still very much in a state of shock in wake of the Chapecoense air disaster that killed 71 players, members of the coaching staff and journalists. Ahead of their EFL Cup clash with Southampton this evening, Arsenal paid tribute to those who tragically lost their lives when the plane crashed in Colombia. A minute of silence was held prior to kick-off, with the players holding a banner which read ‘#FORCACHAPE'. Gabriel, who himself is Brazilian, was visibly emotional.
