Report: Mesut Ozil close to signing new big-money Arsenal deal
Mesut Ozil has reportedly reached an agreement with Arsenal following further negotiations over a big-money deal to keep him at the Emirates Stadium. The 28-year-old and his representatives have been locked in talks with the Gunners during the international break, having previously reached a stalemate in discussions due to the German's bloated wages. According to The Mirror, Arsenal have agreed to bow to their superstar midfielder's salary demands and will make him the club's highest-paid player on £200,000 a week.
