Defender Hints At Move Away From Arsenal
Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal has hinted he could be tempted to leave the Gunners for Athletic Bilbao and says he is “keeping his options open'. Monreal moved to north London from Malaga in 2013 and has become a key figure for Arsene Wenger’s men. The defender, who signed a new deal with Arsenal back in January, turns 31 in February and says he could be tempted to return to Spain. “I have great affection for Athletic who have always shown interest in me but I think only about the present, not what could happen in the future although I am keeping all my options open,” he said according to El Desmarque. “I have some good friends already at the club such as Raul Garcia'.
