Arsenal star caught up in tax-evasion scandal
Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez has been accused of tax-evasion during his time at Barcelona, report El Periodico. El Periodico report that the Chilean failed to pay £889,250 worth of taxes between 2012 and 2013. He is the latest current or former Barcelona player to be caught up in a tax-evasion scandal after Lionel Messi, Javier Mascherano, Samuel Eto'o and Adriano. Sanchez is Arsenal's top goalscorer in the Premier League so far this campaign with six goals. This news will no doubt be a worry for the Gunners faithful.
