Arsenal defender Gabriel gets Brazil call-up
Rio de Janeiro, March 21 (IANS) Brazil coach Dunga has called up uncapped Arsenal central defender Gabriel Paulista for friendlies against France and Chile. Shakhtar Donetsk striker Luiz Adriano and Corinthians centre-back Gil were also drafted into Brazil's 23-member squad on Friday, reports Xinhua. The trio's inclusion comes after the injury-enforced omissions of Paris Saint-Germain defenders David Luiz and Marquinhos and Shandong Luneng striker Diego Tardelli. Gabriel joined Arsenal in January for 11 million pounds after an impressive 18-month spell with Spain's Villarreal. Brazil will meet France in Paris on March 26 before taking on Chile in London three days...
