Arsenal Prepared To Swap Lukas Podolski For Hakan Calhanoglu
Metro has reported that Arsenal are set to offer Lukas Podolski plus cash in exchange for Bayer Leverkusen star Hakan Calhanoglu. The report suggests that Arsene Wenger is looking to bolster his midfield options with suggestions that current club captain Mikel Arteta is set to leave the Emirates for David Moyes’ Real Sociedad at the end of the season. It is believed that at the top of the Wenger’s list is Turkish international Calhanoglu, who has already scored 10 goals in 37 appearances at his new club after completing a move from Bundesliga rivals Hamburg last summer.
