Arsenal weighing up bids for Omer Toprak, Simon Kjaer?
Arsenal are considering an approach for Bayer Leverkusen's Omer Toprak and Simon Kjaer of Fenerbahce, according to a report. The Gunners are in desperate search of a new centre-back after losing Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista to injury in recent weeks. With Laurent Koscielny still battling to reach peak fitness following his extended summer break, Arsenal were left to field Rob Holding and Calum Chambers in the heart of defence for the visit of Liverpool.
