Arsenal announce agreement in place to sign Japanese striker Takuma Asano

The deal for the 21-year-old is still subject to the completion of a medical and regulatory processes. But he is set to become their second signing of the summer following the arrival of Granit Xhaka. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has made strengthening his attacking options a priority after struggling in front of goal last season. And Danny Welbeck is out for several months with a knee injury.
