Club marks Refugee Week with football
Arsenal in the Community hosted a tournament at Market Road in Islington on Monday to mark Refugee Week. Two teams from the Gunners’ joint programme with Freedom from Torture took part, alongside Plymouth Hope FC – a team of refugees and asylum seekers supported by the British Red Cross Welcome Project. Plymouth Hope ran out tournament winners with 4-1 and 3-1 victories. The team celebrated their win with a tour of Emirates Stadium.
