Arsenal Determined To Sign Bayer Leverkusen's Lars Bender
Reports are out claiming that Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Lars Bender is on the radar of Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger. According to Calciomercato.com, Wenger is keen on Bayer Leverkusen star Bender and looks likely to launch a bid for him in January. The Gunners have been rocked by injuries recently and are in need of a new defensive midfielder. Germany international Bender is top of Wenger's wish-list for when the transfer window reopens. The 26-year-old, who has scored fours goal in 19 caps for his country, has been a top performer for Leverkusen in the Bundesliga over the past seven years.
