Mesut Ozil Notches Assist Record
It has been revealed that Arsenal star Mesut Ozil equaled ex-Gunner Cesc Fabregas' record of providing assists in six consecutive Premier League games after he assisted Kieran Gibbs' goal against Tottenham last night. The feat earned the praise of Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville, who described the assist as ‘no surprise' given the German's current form. 'He found it tough for 75 minutes, but you know when the ball lands at his feet, the delivery more often than not is very good,' Neville said. 'He picks the right pass.
