Arsenal transfer news: Wenger making £67.7m bid for Gonzalo Higuain
Recent injuries and poor performances by Arsenal‘s group of forwards have the team understandably nervous. With plenty of cash saved up from their thrifty 2015, the Gunners are in a good position to make a move for Napoli scoring machine Gonzalo Higuain – and the interest appears to be mutual. According to The Telegraph, Higuain is ready to leave Napoli in exchange for a move to London – specifically Arsenal – next summer. Such a move would not come cheap for Arsenal, as the Telegraph noted that there is a fairly expensive release clause in Higuain's contract, costing approximately £67.7 million.
