Mikel Arteta Coaching The Wales U16 Squad
It has been reported that Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta is coaching the Wales U16 squad. The Daily Mail claims that Arteta has continued his journey into coaching after leading a training session with the Wales Under 16s side on Wednesday night. The 33-year-old Spaniard, close to recovering from a five month injury lay-off for the Gunners and expected to be available for first-team selection in two weeks, has gone about laying the foundations for life after he has hung up his boots. Arteta has been offered a new one-year extension to his contract at Arsenal, but the club are yet to confirm whether he has accepted.
