Wenger Confident CL Loss Won't Affect North London Derby Preparation
It has been revealed that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is confident that the embarrassing 5-1 Champions League defeat against Bayern Munich won't affect his side's preparations for the North London Derby. The Gunners will face their fierce rivals Tottenham in a Premier League clash on Sunday at Emirates Stadium. 'You have to not be negative and face reality,' Wenger said, following the defeat against Bayern. 'That is as top level sportsmen we have to accept our performance was not good enough but that should not affect the players. 'We also have to focus on Sunday and turn up with a different performance. We are in a strong position in the league.'
