Wenger Prepared To Rest ‘Exhausted' Alexis Sanchez For Everton Clash
It has been revealed that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed he may rest Alexis Sanchez for the Gunners clash with Everton on Saturday if the Chile star tells him he is exhausted. The 26-year-old failed to get on the scoresheet in Arsenal's Champions League win over Bayern Munich in midweek before Wenger admitted Sanchez was tired and had looked 'jaded' in the game. When asked by Standard Sport whether he would consider resting Sanchez, Wenger said: 'Yes. That's crossing my mind and it's just when.' When then asked if he would leave the forward out of his starting line-up against Everton, the Gunners coach replied: 'I haven't spoken to him since Tuesday about how he feels physically....
