Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has slammed Olivier Giroud for his performance in the Gunners’ dismal 3-1 home defeat to Monaco in the Champions League round-of-sixteen on Tuesday, Daily Star reports. Wenger’s side are close to being eliminated from the Champions League in the same round for their fifth consecutive season following Monaco’s convincing away victory. The Ligue-1 club take a big 3-1 lead back to the Stade Louis II, but it could have been a much tighter affair if Gunners front-man Olivier Giroud managed to finish the chances he was presented with during the fixture.
