Arsenal fringe players need to continue stepping up
Arsene Wenger hailed Arsenal's resilience in their 2-1 win over Tottenham in the Capital One Cup. At a time when Arsenal play three games a week, it's absolutely necessary for manager Arsene Wenger to rotate his squad. He's got to keep his best players fresh and give those on the fringes some game time. It didn't work in Zagreb last week as they kicked off their Champions League campaign with a 2-1 defeat, but it paid off at White Hart Lane on Wednesday as they beat Spurs by the same scoreline to advance to the fourth round of the Capital One Cup. For some players rotation is difficult. Mathieu Debuchy, for example, is a player who seems to struggle when he's in and out of the side....
