Vertonghen Backing Pochettino To Play A Strong Team Arsenal Clash
It has been reported that Jan Vertonghen has backed Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino to play a strong team in the Capital One Cup tie against Arsenal. The North London clubs will face off at White Hart Lane in the third round of the League Cup on Wednesday and according to Vertonghen, Pochettino is likely to field a fairly solid starting eleven for the visit of the Gunners. The Belgium international centre back said: 'In the league we have (Manchester) City, Swansea and Liverpool coming for us. So it was very important to win.
