Arsenal and Liverpool face new competition to sign France international striker
Newcastle United are interested in signing Lyon star Alexandre Lacazette despite his recent form, reports the Daily Mirror. The 24-year-old was sensational last season, scoring 27 goals as the top scorer Ligue 1. However, this time round, he hasn't hit the back of the net in 706 minutes of action. The Magpies are still interested though, perhaps because of their striking problems. Aleksandar Mitrovic has struggled since arriving in the Premier League, with disciplinary issues marring his undoubted talent.
