Ex-Arsenal star says Wenger could face a revolt from fans
Former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson has stated that Arsene Wenger is under real pressure at the North London club and could face a revolt from the club’s fans if they lose their next couple of games. The Emirates Stadium outfit were surprisingly beaten by Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League in midweek, with the Frenchman criticised for resting a host of key players. The Gunners face London rivals and wounded Premier League champions Chelsea today, while an upcoming Capital One Cup against fierce rivals Tottenham is also in the offing.
