Arsenal plot move to sign £44m-rated striker before transfer deadline
Arsenal are planning a late transfer window move for PSG forward Edinson Cavani according to Fichajes (via the Metro). Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has seen his side struggle to break down the opposition thus far this season, and first-choice striker Olivier Giroud has even found himself out of the Arsenal starting eleven with the North London side, using Theo Walcott as their central striker against Newcastle United. Arsenal have scored three goals in four Premier League fixtures this season, and one of those was credited as a Fabricio Coloccini own goal, and Wenger had been linked with a move for Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema (via the Daily Mirror), one which has failed to materialise....
