Wenger plotting deadline day move for No.1 striker target
Arsene Wenger is reportedly lining up a move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani who is now our No.1 transfer target after a deal for Karim Benzema failed to materialise, the Daily Star reports. Cavani has been prolific for the French champions, despite predominantly playing on the left-wing in order to accommodate Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Also, with the big-money arrival of Angel Di Maria, there could be a glimmer of hope for us in terms of a potential deal with only days remaining in the window.
