Arsene Wenger drops huge deadline day hint after Newcastle United win
Arsene Wenger has dropped a significant hint in terms of his intentions on deadline day with the boss promising that we'll be active in the transfer market, he told BBC Sport. We are desperate for a centre-forward and our profligacy in front of goal has proven exactly that in the opening four games of the Premier League seasons. Our only two wins have come away from home, with our form at the Emirates Stadium starting to become a real worry. We haven't scored in five of our last six Premier League home games.
