Unlikely transfer link gives Arsenal Benzema boost
Most Arsenal fans gave up hope of signing Real Madrid's Karim Benzema after the Frenchman seemingly confirmed his plans to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu on Twitter (via The Telegraph). The rumour mill continues to rumble on though, and the latest news is that we are still in with a chance of signing the 27-year-old, as Los Blancos have identified Paris Saint-Germain's Zlatan Ibrahimovic as a potential replacement (via the Metro). This seems a little far-fetched, and it's difficult to see Madrid swapping Benzema for the giant Swede.
