Roma Reject Aston Villa Bid For Ex-Arsenal Winger Gervinho
It has been reported that Aston Villa have failed with a bid for Roma winger Gervinho. Corriere dello Sport claims that Villa are keen on the former Arsenal forward, but their offer this week fell short of Roma's valuation. Villa, after talks with Roma chief Walter Sabatini, tabled a bid of 13 million for the Ivorian. But the offer was quickly rejected by Roma, which are seeking closer to 20 million to sell. Everton are also interested in Gervinho.
