Arsenal boss ready to ‘gamble', as £48m Benzema switch edges closer
It's tricky being an Arsenal fan with the close of the window looming large, as many fear we won't see any new faces through the door – despite heavy links to Karim Benzema (via The Telegraph). Arsene Wenger has given us a bit of hope though, by claiming he's willing to gamble and spend big if the right player becomes available. 'There is always time to take a gamble and we are not against taking a gamble,' said Wenger. 'But what you want is to take a gamble in a market where the opportunity is there.'
